What makes a full lace wig different?
A full lace wig has lace throughout the cap, including the front and nape. Depending on the construction selected, that can offer more flexibility in where you part the hair and how you style it than a wig with lace only at the front.
The cap is just the starting point. Density, color, texture, hairline, fit, and cut all affect how a wig looks and feels on you. I consider those details together, then customize the piece in the studio. For clients who want the flexibility to put their wig on and take it off themselves. The fit and securing approach are selected around the wig, your comfort, and your natural hair.
Bonded wear
For clients interested in wearing their wig for longer stretches between removal and reapplication. I’ll assess whether adhesive wear suits your scalp, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences before including it in your plan.
Neither option is one size fits all. I’ll explain the fit, daily care, and recommended appointment schedule for the approach I recommend.

Tell me what you want your hair to look and feel like, how often you plan to wear your wig, and what you want to be able to do in it. I review your hair and scalp, your preferences, and any coverage needs before recommending a direction.
Select the right piece
I take the measurements needed for your fit and source a wig around your desired color, length, texture, density, and styling goals. The construction and securing approach are part of that decision.
Make it yours
I fit and customize the wig on you, then cut and style it around your face and the result you want. The goal is a look that belongs to you, whether it is a subtle change or a complete transformation.
Keep it feeling right
I’ll show you how to care for your wig and explain when to return for cleaning, styling, fit adjustments, or reapplication if applicable. Your care plan depends on the piece and how you wear it.
When coverage is part of your story
For clients navigating hair changes, I use The 6-Cause Restoration Method™ to understand the context around those changes and guide cosmetic planning. At The Discovery, I consider your hair history, current hair and scalp, coverage goals, and what your hair can comfortably support. Do I need to be experiencing hair loss to get a full lace wig?
No. You may want a completely different look, more styling freedom, full coverage, or some combination of those things. I design the experience around your goals.
What’s the difference between a full lace wig and a lace front wig?
A lace front wig has lace at the front hairline, while a full lace wig has lace throughout the cap. The construction you choose affects the available styling options, fit, and care. I’ll help you compare them based on how you actually want to wear your hair.
Can I wear a full lace wig every day?
Many clients do. The best way to secure, remove, clean, and maintain yours depends on the wig, your natural hair and scalp, and whether you choose removable or bonded wear. I’ll go through those details with you before you move forward.
Can you work with a wig I already own?
Bring it up in your application. I can assess its construction, condition, fit, and what you would like to change, then tell you whether an upgrade or customization is appropriate. Some goals may call for a different piece.
